I believe this is the correct marriage based on the fact that Kaatje and Joseph witnessed the following baptisms for these two children Dirk Wesseling and Bartha Boumans:

Christina Wesseling, dopen 12 April 1737 (RK)
Witnesses: Engel de Vries en Kaatje Boumans

Jacob Wesseling, dopen 19 October 1738 (RK)
Witnesses: Josef Ijsford en Barbara van der Randen

Maar volgens mij maakt Steve toch een verkeerde verbinding richting Wesselink, zoals ik al eerder aangaf.

In het Lutherse doopboek wordt gedoopt op 9 jan 1744
Catharina Wesseling -d.v. Jurrien Wesseling en Lena Lammerts

en hoe heet het 1e kind van Catharina en Jan Hoenderdos ...?
namelijk Helena

Thank you for helping me out. You seem to have a great deal of knowledge about these families. I would rather have the right information. That being said, when Egbert asked me about the Hoenderdos family, one of the children by Jan and Catharina (Wesseling) Hoenderdos was:

Geern/Geerde = Gehrde, Landkreis Osnabrück

It looks as if the first and second generation married someone from "home" (= Landkreis Osnabrück) and the third generation with someone from Haarlem and surrounding area's.

Wich means, the first two generations will be found basicly in the Luterse Gemeente. Third generation in the NG, but also catholic church.

Egbert, kan met Durgelo misschien Ruurlo zijn bedoeld ?
Ruurlo wordt nu nog met een ûuhh uitgesproken [door de inwoners] wat wel wat lijkt op durg

Ik lees daar Durgelo?? De laatste letters kan ik niet goed ontcijferen. Eindigt het op een d?
