Weet je wat wel opmerkelijk is?
In IJsselmuiden is Moyses Galvaing begraven in zijn groeve in de kerk 20-5-1717.
De aktes in Engeland zijn gedateerd 16-8-1718. In de akte zelf ben ik een keer de datum 1717 tegengekomen.
Ik ben ontzettend slecht in buitenlandse talen, dus het testament zou ik over moeten tikken 5 pagina's, en dan in Google vertalen.
Hieronder zal ik eens een eerste alinea neerpoten, moet je maar eens in Google vertaler zetten, en kijk wat er uitkomt. Niet te begrijpen.
Is er iemand die het makkelijker af gaat dan mij? Wil kijken en de belangrijke punten op wil schrijven? De letters op zich zijn makkelijk te lezen, dus geen hannepoterig handschrift.
Item, I give unto my cousin Maria King His like summe of rentt
ponds. Item, I give unto my good friend Rebeccah Miller of Chesham
in the country of Butks widow the like summe of ren pounds, and my
wil land whire is that my exetutor herem after namee doe and shall

De opsteller van dit stuk heeft het over neven [Perkins] en een broer Thomas Ffosier, dit lijken mij toch Engelse lieden.

Ik zou het fijn vinden als iemand zich op wil offeren om globaal te kijken wat er in die akte staat. En of onderstaande wel goed is.
Dit omdat naar ik begrijp in de akte, is gedateerd op 4 oktober 1717.
Dat zou een conflict geven omdat Galvaing is begraven in zijn groeve in de kerk op 20-5-1717
